About Me
My journey with yoga began over 25 years ago, I started off by attending a weekly yoga class and I have been practising yoga on and off for over 25 years, but it was only in 2018 when I thought I would take the plunge and train to become a Yoga Teacher.
I trained in 2018 after having practised yoga as a Student for some years and I am currently attending training to complete my 500 RYT teacher training.
I love the way that yoga makes me feel, whether it is a short meditation practise or dynamic yoga practise, I love the way yoga connects us to our breath, connects us to our bodies and helps to free up my very busy mind, giving me time to help to make some space between those thoughts – to me, it truly is a magical thing!
I have been teaching yoga on a part-time basis since 2018, but in 2023 I decided to leave my part-time Payroll Manager job to spread my yoga wings and fulfil my dream to teach yoga on a full-time basis. Recently, I have also completed a course to become a Special Yoga Practitioner for children with special and additional needs and this has ignited a real passion in me to help bring yoga and breathwork into children’s and adults lives who are on the autistic spectrum. I can offer private one-to-one yoga classes in person or online.
My yoga classes are suitable for all levels, and I run the classes from my annexe (in the garden), the class sizes are small and welcoming. My style of yoga is Hatha Flow (focusing on movement & our breath/pranayama). If any of my classes interest you or if you would prefer a private one-to-one yoga class, then please do get in touch (by email/text) to book a class.
